What comes next

Counseling and therapy sessions through The Journey Center can take place in the office location in Marshall or through a video telehealth platform online. I will spend some time getting to know you, your history, including relevant life transitions that may have impacted your current challenges, and discuss the current level of discomfort you may be experiencing. Together, we will identify goals for our work together. This is your life, and you can OWN it!

I will openly discuss with you the symptoms you share with me, mental health diagnosis, treatment planning recommendations, and provide you with information to best support your goals on an ongoing basis. In our work together I will check in with you often on your level of comfort, connection, and satisfaction with services provided. This is your time to grow and be cared for in a style and pace that works for your needs.

MOving on

Our mental health should never be viewed as a “one and done” type of service provision. Our minds and emotions deserve time and care just like our bodies do, heck, for sure more than our cars do! In our work together we will discuss what it looks like when your goals are met, and we meet less frequently, or perhaps not at all. Even if it has been a year or two since completing your treatment goals, it is great to connect again for stabilizing support when major transitions shift us off course, or old symptoms and patterns cloud our lives again. Life…it’s not always easy, right? And well, sometimes even if we learn the best coping skills and feel amazing for long periods of time, it doesn’t mean we have to hide and cover up when things drift into areas we don’t want to be in again. Just get back in contact with me, and we can start working together again.
